About Vinod Maheshwari
Vinod Maheshwari was born and raised in the serene hill station of Pachmarhi. Growing up in an Army Cantonment and studying at Kendriya Vidyalaya instilled in him strong values of discipline and commitment. His love for mathematics developed while helping in his family’s grocery shop, eventually guiding him to the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Bhopal.
He began his career through campus placement at Tata Exports, Dewas, followed by a Regional Manager role at OKS Speciality Lubricants, which took him across Madhya Pradesh. Later, working with Yale Industries in Baroda and Surat shaped his early professional and entrepreneurial insights.
With a family already running hotels in Pachmarhi and inspired by Gujarat’s vibrant travel culture, Vinod shifted from the corporate world to launch MPHolidays. The company steadily expanded with offices in Indore, Surat, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad. Alongside this, the family strengthened its hospitality footprint by developing Kanha Resort—originating from a leased property and built with the vision and craftsmanship of his father.
MPHolidays has since built a legacy of trust, earning consistent recognition as one of the Top Business Partners of MP Tourism and winning the Best Travel Agent Award three times.
Today, Vinod Maheshwari is a dedicated entrepreneur whose journey reflects discipline, passion, and an enduring commitment to travel and hospitality.

Transitioned from corporate to business, combining family hospitality experience and Gujarat’s travel-loving culture.
Expansion Phase
Opened offices in Indore, Surat, Nagpur, and Ahmedabad, establishing a strong presence in central and western India.
Kanha Resort Development
Leased Green Valley Resort at Kanha and transformed it into Kanha Resort with the construction expertise of Vinod’s father.

My love for nature and ‘exploring the unexplored’ was deeply ingrained in me while growing up amidst the jungles and hills of
Pachmarhi (M.P), India, also known as ‘Satpura ki Rani’.

Studying from 1st to 12th in an army school in Pachmarhi instilled discipline in every aspect of my life. -

My education at NIT Bhopal and 5-year experience at Tata International Dewas reinforced the
importance of employee well-being and organizational growth.
These values continue to guide my professional journey. Starting from a small office in Surat, I transitioned into
entrepreneurship with a pan-India presence.
My wife Mrs. Dipti Maheshwari has been my constant support throughout this journey.
Our branches expanded to Surat, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, and Indore.
Later, we ventured into hospitality with Kanha Resort, followed by Chunmun Cottage (Pachmarhi),
Vrindavan Gopala Resort (Bhedaghat), and
Tendu Leaf Jungle Resort (Panna).
We are grateful to MP Tourism for recognizing us as one of their top partners and awarding us
Best Travel Agent Three Times.

Another idol of mine is Dev Anand, whose passion and tireless dedication to cinema from 1945 to 2011 motivate me
