Hanuwantiya is a tiny island on the vast Indira Sagar reservoir on the Narmada — Madhya Pradesh's largest dam. MP Tourism transformed it into the state's first water-sports and adventure destination.
The famous Jal Mahotsav here is one of India's longest tourism festivals — 60+ days of jet skis, parasailing, banana rides, glamping under the stars, hot-air balloons and ferry cruises across the Narmada's deep blue waters.
