The Panpatha Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the famous Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve spread across the Umaria district of Madhya Pradesh. Bandhavgarh literally means “Fort of Brother”.
The Panpatha Wildlife Sanctuary was formed in the year 1983. It consists of an area of 245 sq. km.
The Sanctuary accommodates various speices of animals like
the Tiger
Panthers
Jackal
Wild dog
Chital
Sambhar
Blue bull
Porcupine
Chausingha
Bear etc.
Other well-known destinations like the Bandhavgarh National Park, Bandhavgarh Fort, and Khajuraho are situated close to the Sanctuary.
