Where the Narmada slices through a marble canyon
Bhedaghat is a small town on the banks of the holy Narmada River, about 25 km from Jabalpur. It is famed for towering marble rocks that rise on either side of the river, forming a dramatic gorge nearly 8 km long.
The sun and moon turn the marble cliffs into living sculpture — white at noon, pink at dusk, silver under a full moon. Add the roar of Dhuandhar Falls and the 10th-century Chausath Yogini temple.
