Bhopal's first shopping mall, in the central business district, with retail, a multiplex, a food court and a family entertainment centre.

DB City is a shopping centre in Bhopal, spread over 13 lakh sq ft of floor space, with over 135 Indian and international brands and food and beverage outlets under one roof. It was the first shopping mall in Bhopal, and the city saw it open in August 2010. It sits in the central business district.
The mall was developed by the Bhaskar Group and is owned and operated by DB Malls Private Limited, a subsidiary of the Dainik Bhaskar Group. It was designed by Bentel International Architects, and a Courtyard Marriott hotel has since opened here. Footfall runs at over 10 lakh a month, rising to as much as 18 lakh in the festive season around Diwali and Christmas.
The mall holds 7 anchor shops and 135 retail shops, covering Indian and international brands across shopping, entertainment, food and leisure. The mix is deliberately broad rather than specialised.
There is a 6-screen multiplex and a 15,000 sq ft family entertainment centre. Between them they account for a good share of why people come here in the evenings.
Food and beverage is split between 5 restaurants and a 30,000 sq ft food court, so it works for both a sit-down meal and a quick one.
This is a shopping and entertainment stop rather than a sightseeing one, and it is useful as a break in a hot afternoon or a wet day.
Weekday visits are the quieter option. The mall is busiest during the festive season around Diwali and Christmas, when footfall climbs to around 18 lakh a month.
