Source of River Charan Ganga at Bandhavgarh National Park. The place is situated in the middle of National Park on a hill (800 m) where the water accumulates at the feet of Lord Vishnu who is scupted in a reclining position on 7-hooded snake called Sheshnag.
The statue is thus called Shesh Shaiya. Close to the status is another monolith Shiva Lingam (the phallus of the Destroyer God Shiva). The river feeds a lot of mammals of this National Park including Tiger – the star of this park.
