🔍Jahaz Mahal in Mandu was built in 15th century when the place was under the rule of Ghiyas-ud-din. This structure is the monument which was built on the two lakes and the architecture is in the shape of a ship and that connects two lakes named KapurTalao and MunjTalao.
🔍Hindola Mahal in Mandu is an ancient construction which was built under the rule of Ghiyas-ud-din's reign. The place is ideal to spot the historic monuments with their wonderful sculpture. The monument is an audience hall and named as swinging palace. The unique innovative construction with the superb technique and sculpture invites thousands of tourists every year. The Hindola Mahal was built with sand stone with beautifully carved columns.
🔍Among all other architectural structures influenced by the Islamic methods, this Jain temple stands as an exception, totally different from all other structures. It is a present-day architectural building that boasts of gold, silver and marble statues of Jain Tirthankaras. Also, there is a picturesque Jain museum that is inspired by Shatrunjaya, the temple on the hilltop at Palitana in Gujarat.
🔍These rocky cells were once the hideout of Shaiva yogis. However, the origin of these caves is not surely known by the residents of Mandu. These caves don’t have any carvings or inscriptions on them, hence, we cannot conclude the exact date of their origin. They are simply a group of finely cut rocks that look like underground cells said to have been inhabited since the pre-Muslim eras.
