- If you are someone who is keen on exploring the age-old festive spirits then immerse yourself in the inspiring culture, art, local food and less-known heritage of the tribal land of the western Madhya Pradesh.
- Fairs are an important part of the tribal lives as they give the entire community a much-needed break from their monotonous routines. ‘Bhagoria’ is one such vibrant carnival which is celebrated by various tribes like Bhil and Bhilalas.
- This is one of the oldest festivals greatly admired in the regions like Jhabua, Dhar, Alirajpur and Khargone. The fair is celebrated just before Holi wherein people apply ‘gulal’ to each other and tap their feet dancing and singing to their traditional tribal tunes.
- One can turn up to the festival to catch glimpses of the young tribal people, all dressed up in colourful attires, playing the traditional instruments, singing and performing the regional dance at the haats.
