Built by Raja Bir Singh Deo in the 17th century to commemorate the visit of Emperor Jehangir to Orchha.
Resembling a palace, this is the only temple in India where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king.
Situated to the right of the quardrangle, this palace was built by Madhukar Shah, the deeply religious predecessor of Bir Singh Deo.
It is one of the most important temples in Orchha. It is another beautiful temple which is dedicated to the Goddess of wealth Lakshmi and is built by Bir Singh Deo in the 16th century.
There are fourteen 'Chatries' or memorials to the rulers of Orchha, grouped along the Kanchana Ghat of the river Betwa.
