🔍Balancing rock formations are seen all over the world. These are basically what happen when volcanic rocks get eroded over time. Jabalpur also has these formations that are a wonder of nature. No matter what you do, the rocks will not be dislodged from their balanced position. As a matter of fact these rocks have survived even a fairly strong earthquake in the past. Balancing Rocks is situated at the base of Madan Mahal Fort, 6 km from Jabalpur, near Shailparna.
🔍Located at an hour's drive away from Jabalpur, history has to offer one of its oldest religious sites - the Chausath Yogini Temple near Bhedaghat region. Chausath translates to sixty-four in English and the name has a direct relation to the structure of the temple. There are exactly 64 carved figures of Yoginis, each one in her own designated shrine, skirting the inner wall of the circular premises of the temple.
🔍Dhuandhar falls are located in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. The beautiful falls cascade down for 30 m and are also one of the most visited tourist attractions in Jabalpur. The river Narmada flows through the famous marble-like falls, narrows down and plunges into a waterfall so forcefully that it creates a bouncing mass of mist and results into the Dhuandhar falls. 🔍Also known as Tigawa Temple, Kankali Devi Temple is a Hindu temple located in Tigawa village near Jabalpur. The temple is enshrined by Kankali Devi. The shrine boasts of brilliant architecture with an impressive sanctum sanctorum and a well defined pillared structure. The temple also has idols of Narsimha, Sheshashai Vishnu and Chamunda Devi.
🔍Kachnar City is a newly developed posh locality of Jabalpur City. There is a statue of Lord Shiva which is 76’ high which is one of the latest attractions here. Built in 2006, the temple has a cavern with Shivalingam models from different parts of the country. There is a statue of Nandi, the bull and the Vaahan of Lord Shiva besides idols of Saptarishi and Lord Ganesha. This temple draws great crowds.
🔍A construction belonging to the 11th century, Madan Mahal Fort is a stunning example of the architectural splendour of the past. Constructed by Madan Shah, son of Rani Durgavati, a Gond ruler, the fort served as a watch tower during the reign of the queen. Situated at a height of 500 meters, This fort dominates the skyline and provides a panoramic view of the town and the country side around it.
🔍108 ft tall statue of Mahakali is situated at bargi dam road, 33 km from the city of Jabalpur. The idol of Mahakali is the tallest statue in Madhya Pradesh and the places is now called as Rajeshwari Dakshineswar Kali Peetha.

🔍Pisanhari Ki Madiya is a Jain pilgrimage centre located amidst lush greenery in mesmerising hilly region near Netaji Subhash Chandra Medical College in Jabalpur. The temple is revered by the Digambara sect of Jainism and is considered at least 500 years old. The shrine can be reached by climbing a flight of 150 steps and also has accomodation facilities for pilgrims
